I've been a fan of Joe Maduriera ever since I discovered him rather late (around 2006) and even when I was 8 or 10 I liked his work I was just oblivious of it's origin.

Since I was late finding Mad I missed out on his 9 issue comic series, Battle Chasers... or so I thought. Fortunately a friend of mine from school (who really needs to create a dA account cus she does some epic stuff)has the complete collection and is letting me borrow it. It's freakin epic. My point other than the sheer joy of finally being able to read/study the series is that I would like to own the set myself. So if someone happens to know a place where I can find either all 9 comics or the combined paperback for a good price (I'm a poor college student)and in good condition I would much appreciate it.

Also I've been reading 's web comic and I found it very inspiring. I'm looking into getting with a guy i know and possibly coming up with a story to eventually try my hand at my own comic series. I've always been iffy about it but with the recent training I've been getting at school I'm a little less hesitant to stray from the norm.
